Chapter 1

Part 1

1. Cinderella opens her eyes to find Alyn Crawford, Captain of the guard who had caught her. Alyn advises Cinderella not to get the palace staff mixed up in her personal affairs, referring to Nico, her attendant.

2. Alyn agrees to help Cinderella just this one time and they set off on horseback. Cinderella is almost thrown off the horse but Alyn saves her.

3. Cinderella meets with her pupil and explains everything to her. 

4. Alyn asks Cinderella what she wants to protect and Cinderella answers she wants to protect the people she cares about. Alyn agrees to protect her so she can protect the ones she loves.

5. Alyn and Cinderella return to the palace at dawn and he escorts her back to her room so she doesn’t get caught. Just as Alyn goes to leave there’s a knock on the door. Alyn pulls Cinderella behind a window curtain to hide.

Part 2

1. Turns out it was just Nico however the two are in an intimate position and chose to stay hidden until Nico left. Alyn leaves shortly after Nico does.

2. Nico returns later to find Cinderella in her room and takes her to breakfast where Giles gives her a breakdown of her schedule for the day.

3. Giles takes note that Cinderella didn’t sleep well last night and hints that he packed her schedule because she left last night. During Cinderella’s break she finds herself in the guards training area.

4. Cinderella causes a commotion when the guards spy her watching. Alyn speaks with Cinderella again about wandering around when Leo shows up. Alyn abruptly excuses himself back to training.

5. Cinderella decides to ask Leo if something is wrong with Alyn since he was acting weird when Leo showed up. Cinderella, persistent in asking about Alyn, Leo offers her a deal. Choose him as her prince consort and he will tell her everything.

Chapter 2

Part 1

1. Cinderella realizes that Leo is avoiding the conversation and doesn't really want to answer her.

2. Giles calls Cinderella to his office to tell her she will begin training in equestrian arts and Alyn will be her teacher/ trainer. To which Alyn down right refuses, stating that his job is to protect the Princess Elect and palace.

3. Cinderella takes time out of schedule to tend and get used to the horse. 

4. Days later Alyn learns that Cinderella has been visiting the stables and tending to the horses. After seeing Cinderella's conviction he agrees to teach/train her. 

5. The next day Alyn begins teaching Cinderella the basics of how to ride a horse. Cinderella feels bad that she's taking up Alyn's time and tells her to teach him something in return for it. To which she happily agrees.

Part 2

1. Alyn helps Cinderella dismount from the horse and she becomes embarrassed from their close proximity again. He continued their lessons up to her coronation ceremony. The day of the coronation Cinderella is still unsure if she's fit to be princess when Alyn tells her to stand tall and do her best.

2. The ceremony begins with a parade around town and Cinderella feels so surreal because she has just been one of them not so long ago. She also sees a group of her former students get mugged but can't do anything about it. 

3. Alyn then tells him he'll take care of it and he dives into the crowd. Giles remarks that this isn't exactly Captain of the Guard behavior. Later that night Cinderella learns that Alyn was able to get her pupils' things back but he's facing an inquiry about abandoning his duty.

4. Cinderella spots Alyn in the courtyard and rushes after him. The two of them then go to the stables to talk and she confesses that she feels guilty about him getting reprimanded. 

5. Alyn reassures her that he did it because he trusts what she said when they met. That she has people she wants to protect and he promised to help protect them. He reminds her to keep doing what she promised.

Chapter 3

Part 1

1. Giles relays Cinderella's schedule for the day and week. Cinderella realizes that he's packed her schedule full of blind dates with noblemen. Later that day she meets with a consort while Alyn continues to be her bodyguard.

2. Days and many suitors later, Alyn accompanies an exhausted Cinderella back to her chambers. Alyn tells her to get some rest for another busy day tomorrow.  Cinderella, unable to relax, decides to visit her favorite mare. On her way to the stables she runs into her old tutor and neighbor, Robert Branche.

3. Both are excited and happy to see one another again however Robert reminds her that she shouldn't be out in a place like this. Agreeing she returns and heads for the stables instead of her chambers. When she arrives at the stables she finds Alyn tending to her favorite mare.

4. Leo warns Cinderella that wooing Ayln would prove a far more difficult task than she thinks, because Alyn would never give up his Knighthood.

5. Cinderella doesn't get the chance to hear what Leo is trying to tell her when Alyn shows up to fetch her. Later that night Alyn confronts Giles about running Cinderella ragged with his schedule. Giles then agrees to lay her have the day of tomorrow.

Bonus Story One

• Alyn arrives to fetch Cinderella for her say off. When he arrives he asks her what she would like to do for her day off. When she can't decide he suggests she make good on her promise. After changing into civilian clothing the pair go to Alyn's room, where she decides to teach him a Fairytale. He falls asleep while she tells him the story. 

• Alyn compliments Cinderella's civilian clothes.

• Alyn compliments Cinderella's voice, calm and soothing.

• After falling asleep Ayln grabs Cinderella’s hand, causing her to blush.

Part 2

1. That night Giles announces Wysteria, and its palace will be holding a royal ball in two days time and invitations have already been sent. Cinderella asks Giles if there are any requirements for a prince consort. He only tells her that the Suitor would have to give up their current position/title.

2. Cinderella now understands what Leo was trying to tell her and the weight of her responsibilities burden her more. The day of the ball with Ayln at her side, Cinderella receives a dance invitation from an unknown nobleman.

3. Cinderella continues to turn down every invitation to dance to hear whatever it was her was going to tell her but didn't get the chance to. Alyn confronts her only to have Leo intervene.

4. Leo asks Cinderella to dance and she accepts as to not upset Alyn. Once out of the floor dancing Leo too confronts her about not accepting anyone as a dance partner. Cinderella then asks Leo what Alyn thinks of her.

5. Leo tells her she should him herself. The song ends and Leo makes his exit off the dance floor. Cinderella decides that she is intrigued by Alyn and makes her way over to him again.

Chapter 4

Part 1

1. Cinderella stands in front of Alyn and asks him to dance. He turns her down stating she can dance with anyone but he's here to fulfill his duty as a knight. Leaving the ball Alyn runs into Leo, who confronts him about his feelings for Cinderella.

2. Nico accompanies Cinderella back to her room after the ball. After he leaves Cinderella decides she needs someone to talk to and that someone is Robert, her old tutor. 

3. Cinderella arrives at Robert's room and dumps all of her worries onto him. She didn't realize the situation she was in until just recently. Robert advises her to keep her head held high and follow her heart. Then tells her to be wary of visiting places at night. 

4. Cinderella spots Alyn crossing the courtyard on her way back to her chamber. She follows him to the royal training hall, where she hides and watches him train. Alyn calls her over after a while.

5. Cinderella decides to ask Alyn her question. "You promised to protect me earlier, correct? At the time, were you talking to the Princess of Wysteria or to me?" Alyn responds, "As a knight, it's my duty to keep the Princess safe. And I take pride in my position. You are the Princess, correct?" Cinderella taking this as his answer, to protect the Princess not her, she asks that Alyn go on without, she'll follow shortly. 

Part 2

1. Cinderella's hands shake and Alyn tries to comfort her when Nico shows up and he leaves. Nico had been searching for her all over. Nico then escorts her back to her chamber. Back in his room Alyn wonders why Cinderella had been trembling. The next day Giles announces that Cinderella will be traveling to Laurelian, a country west of Wysteria. 

2. Giles leave and Leo joins her, offering a break, go outside and take a breather. Leo leads her to the Royal Guard training hall where Alyn is commanding the troops.

3. Leo again asks Cinderella to choose him as consort, telling her that if it doesn't work or with Alyn she can choose him. Leo then reveals that he and Alyn are twins. Everything falling into place, Cinderella is astonished by this information. Leo asks that she keep it a secret because Alyn doesn't like others knowing they're related. Cinderella wonders if she could choose anyone other than Alyn.

4. Later that day Cinderella had horseback riding lessons again with Alyn.  After the lesson Alyn escorts her back to her chamber and asks if she's going to choose Leo. 

5. Cinderella states that she should at least consider him a candidate, to which it ruffles Alyn. He then explains what is to be expected between her and her consort. Stating it's something she should know well with all the late night 'outing' she's caught on. 

Chapter 5

Part 1

1. Alyn shows Cinderella what he means by kissing her. Seeing that Cinderella understood the message, Alyn leaves her chamber. Giles notices that there's something ogg with the captain.

2. Finally the day arrived for Cidnerella's trip to Laurelian. Giles relays her schedule to her, but she has a hard time paying attention. Getting distracted, thinking of the kiss her and Alyn shared. Upon reaching a forest, Giles explains they will continue on horseback.

3. Cinderella rides with Alyn on his horse and she is very aware of their close proximity. The company stops to take a break. Cinderella decides to take in as much as possible since this is the first time she's ever left Wysteria. While walking she discovers a tree with red fruit.

4. Alyn picks one of the fruits and he teases Cinderella by keeping it out of her reach. The company then resumes their journey. Alyn compliments Cinderella on her riding.

5. The company stops once again to set up camp for the night. Nico retrieves Cinderella and brings her to a secluded camp area for her. After dinner, unable to sleep, Cinderella takes a walk back to the lake. Alyn finds her out wandering around again,

Part 2

1. Cinderella asks if she can visit the knight's camp and Alyn agrees. Sitting around the campfire, Cinderella asks if Alyn would like to hear another fairytale. One about a man falling in love with a swan. He agrees and she  begins tellings

2. Alyn escorts Cinderella back to the royal camp. On the walk she decides she has to tell him how she feels or she'll neer be able to move on. She has to tell him as herself, not as the princess.

3. When she tries to tell him how she feels, he stops her. Embracing her, Alyn asks if she wants to choose him.

4. Cinderella nods and Alyn confesses that he likes her too but refuses to lose what's most important to him ever again.

5. Giving Cinderella a pair of pink rose earrings Alyn gets down on one knee and explains that he wants to protect what he holds dear with his own two hands and being prince/king he can't do that. But with these earrings he promises not as captain of the royal guard but as Alyn Crawford he'll protect her.

Chapter 6

Part 1

1. Cinderella and her company finally reach Laurelian and while there she's distracted by Alyn and their conversation from the night before.

2. Cinderella asked Alyn what he would do if she chose someone else for prince consort but wasn't able to answer. The next day they set out, and on their way home Alyn stops to visit a graveyard.

3. Cinderella tries to hide from Alyn but he spots her and calls her out for wonder again. She apologizes for disturbing him but he wasn't disturbed by her.

4. Cinderella and Ayln walk hand in hand back to his stead. Once back at the palace, Giles and Nico, scold her for being distracted during their meeting in Laurelian, and for disappearing on their return home.

5. On her way back to her chamber, Cinderella runs into Leo and she decides to ask him about the graveyards. He explains that's where their parents are buried. And they were very kind to them.

Part 2

1. Cinderella decides that if she can't ask Alyn or Leo about their family history she would look into herself. Giles finds her snooping around and tells her she won't give anything in the text she's looking through.

2. Giles explains that the Crawfords lost their lives during a power struggle years ago. All he knows about the situation is both their parents held positions of power in the palace. And murdered due to internal politics. Giles then warns her not to speak about it in the palace, so as to not get caught up in the lost affairs.

3. The next day Cinderella resumes her regular schedule. This meant resuming her dates with various noblemen. While out on a date, the nobleman oversteps his bounds and gets touchy with Cinderella.

4. When trying to leave the nobleman's grasp, Cinderella twists her ankle. Alyn wasted no time in retrieving her and rushing her back to the palace. Giles proceeds to tell her that he doesn't blame anyone but himself and Alyn asks for a three day suspension from his post. To which Giles had to agree. 

5.  Cinderella visits Alyn's chamber to tell him it's not his fault she was injured. Alyn admits he was jealous when watching her with other noblemen. 

Bonus Story 2

• Cinderella holds Alyn and he admits he's afraid he won't be able to protect her or what he cares about most. 

• Cinderella asks Alyn to tell her about himself.
